In Japanese, 雷 (kaminari) means thunder or lightning. A crack in the sky, a surge of energy, motion with meaning. For us, it’s also what we feel when inspiration hits… or when we finally sit down and tackle our inbox.
This sleeve was one of the first pieces we designed for the Kanji Capsule Series. We didn’t overthink it... Just picked a kanji we loved, a pattern that popped, and wrapped it around something we actually use every day.
