Evan Almon is a lifelong educator, interdisciplinary thinker, and creative collaborator, serving as JPN Guides’ Director of Creative Learning & Partnerships.

With a Master’s in Education and over a decade of classroom and administrative leadership across Colorado, Evan brings a rare fusion of academic rigor, curriculum innovation, and human-centered storytelling to the team. His work bridges the worlds of education and exploration—ensuring that every journey we offer doesn’t just entertain, but teaches, empowers, and inspires.

At JPN Guides, Evan leads the charge in transforming travel into a platform for deeper learning. He’s the architect behind our educational initiatives, forging meaningful partnerships with universities, cultural organizations, and study abroad programs.

 

From crafting immersive Japan-focused learning materials to shaping dynamic cross-cultural exchanges, he infuses our experiences with thoughtfulness and impact. Evan’s superpower is turning bold ideas into real-world programs. Whether he’s co-creating the JPN World Academy, developing college travel packages with built-in learning modules, or reimagining how students connect with Japan through food, art, and place—he brings warmth, clarity, and strategic vision to it all.

 

A multi-instrumentalist, loyal bandmate, and believer in lifelong learning, Evan brings balance to our boots-on-the-ground style of travel. With him on board, we’re building a brand where exploration and education walk hand in hand—one itinerary, student, and story at a time.
